Detection of SWD in the cortical EEG of GAERS

چکیده
We present a method for the detection of SWD in the cortical EEG of GAERS. The method is based on the key observation that SWD are pseudo-periodic signals. This harmonic structure can be revealed and successfully exploited by using the spectrogram. It is shown that for nine EEG-recordings of eight different GAERS, a maximum sensitivity and specificity of 94 percent can be achieved. Keywords—EEG, SWD, GAERS, detection of SWD, signal processing
